OUR CORNER OF THE INTERNET
Pull up a chair. Stay for the conversation.
Autism Forge is a place for autistic folk to hang out. This is not a support group. Jump into chat, find a game, bring your favourite subject, or listen until you feel like joining in. Whatever words you use for yourself, you can be yourself here.
WHAT HAPPENS HERE
Whatever we make of it.
Talk about anything. Your latest obsession, your day, a question nobody else wants to hear, or something gloriously silly.
Play a round. There are solo games, multiplayer lobbies, phone games and high scores. Bring a friend or meet one here.
Find your people. Lurk first, join voice, post a long thread, or simply say hello. There is no script to follow.
Just show up
Open chat and choose a username, or visit as a guest. You can start talking without filling out a profile.
How does an account work?
When you choose a name, sharebot sends your username and a temporary password in a private chat message. It does not expire. Save it, then change it when you sign in or choose Skip for now and keep it.
Google sign-up takes you directly to the forum. Visit chat once to receive the IRC details for that same account. Already a member? Sign in.
GAMES NIGHT
Bring a friend. Or find one here.
Nsane hosts Games Night and will announce the next session. In the meantime, the games are open for solo and multiplayer rounds whenever people are around.
BUILT BY THE PEOPLE HERE
This place belongs to its members.
Members can edit pages, vote for the president and help decide where the site goes next. If you want it to change, you can be part of changing it. See how it works.
What people are talking about
Meet the people keeping this place running
Members elect the president and everyone with an account gets one vote. The staff below keep things running. Say hello in chat, or read about the member vote.
Elected president
Admins
Keep the servers running and carry out the elected president’s instructions. They are staff, not the government.
Ops
Look after the rooms day to day. Their only power over a person is to move a troublesome one to the banned room, where they can still talk and appeal.
…and 42 registered members — who hold the vote, the forum, and every page of the wiki. Stand for president, or vote →
Looking for another IRC room? Starlink #asperger
Starlink's #asperger is a quieter, independent room. Open it in your
IRC client at
irc.starlink-irc.org, port 6697 (TLS). Their ops run it;
our in-browser connection is still being worked on.
